FinanceBoards Widget Spotlight #16: The Stock Screener Widget
Being able to have access to over 400 Stock Screeners performance metrics as they compare to the S&P 500 and a data base which includes over 4000 publically traded companies strongly supports the Financeboards Stock Screener Widget being an Information Widget that should definitely be on your Research Dashboard(s).
With FinanceBoards, you can configure your researching and investing dashboard(s) with any of our 500 + financial data or information widgets. In our, Financeboards Widget Spotlight Series, we pick one or a group of these widgets and explain how it works and go over why you should consider adding them to your Financeboard dashboard(s).
The Widget in the Spotlight today is the Stock Screener Widget
The Stock Screener Widget shows the Financeboards Screener being used from over 400 different screener choices at the Top of the Widget. In this case, the Screener that we are selecting is the Price/Earnings Ratio Screener. It goes on to show the Current S&P 500 Annual Price/Earnings Ratio Average. The Industry, Sector Annual Averages, The Closing Stock Price for the Stock Ticker symbol shown, and the Annual Price/Earnings Ratio for the Company listed.
You can access the Stock Screener Widget, once registered for the Financeboards platform, by subscribing to any one of the three platform paid subscription levels, Budding Investor, Advanced Investor or Professional Investor, each of which offers many other additional tailored research benefits. To access these different subscription levels log into the FinanceBoards platform first and then go to the Membership tab to subscribe to any of them to bring the Stock Screener Widget and the power of FinanceBoard’s predictive analytics to your FinanceBoards platform.
Using all of the Metrics that are available on the Stock Screener Widget with the Price/Earnings Ratio Screener showing on any of your Financeboards Dashboards you are then able to then research each of the stocks listed starting with the lowest Price/Earnings Ratio. You can then see if there are opportunities for investment as you research each company using the different Financeboards dashboards of financial information that are available to you or that you have created on the particular company being researched.
You can also easily change out the screener being referenced at the top of the Stock Screener Widget for another one of over 400 Financeboards screeners available. Once switched out, the new screener will give you a whole new set of metrics and company research options based on the key indicators that are included in that particular screener. Here is another example using the App Store Ratings Count Screener.
Adding the Stock Screener Widget to any of your Financeboards Research Dashboards gives the researcher the ability to use over 400 of the Financeboards Screeners that are available on the Financeboards platform to find new investment opportunities depending on the Research Screener used. This Pinwheel shows you the wide array of Screeners available to you once you have subscribed to one of the three subscription levels.
The breadth of FinanceBoards’ research data and information widgets are much greater than just the Stock Screeners Widget though. You can also create any Widget yourself from any API and add them to your dashboards, either our pre-made ones or ones you’ve created.
