Net Current Asset Value (NCAV)

A valuation metric that helps investors determine if a stock is trading at what the market would consider a fair price. Subtract the company’s current liabilities from its current assets and divide by its total outstanding shares. The ranking is based on the percentage difference between the current price and the NCAV per share value.

According Benjamin Graham, the creator of NCAV, its best to invest in companies where the stock price is no more than 67% of its NCAV per share.
