If Black Friday didn’t wear you (or your bank account) out, next up – Cyber Monday. Actually, Cyber Monday encompasses 3 days for many retailers – Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
Adobe Digital Insights, a predictor of retail traffic says it believes consumers will spend more on Cyber Monday this year than they did on Black Friday. By the numbers that means Cyber Monday sales have to exceed the $3.05 billion shoppers spent Friday. Adobe says it believes Cyber Monday sales will be about $3.36 billion.
Deals And Stocks
Companies with the best deals should rake in a fair share of that $3.3 billion. This should be good news for those companies’ investors and the stocks they own.
There are, of course, no guarantees, especially about the whims of online shoppers, but the following companies are offering some pretty good Cyber Monday buys.
To be sure, Amazon offers some great deals on Cyber Monday. The company, however, saves some of its absolute best deals for Prime Day, which occurs in July. Still there are a lot good deals, especially on Amazon-branded products on Cyber Monday this year.
They include Dash Buttons for $0.99 (reg. $4.99) with a $4.99 credit after your first purchase, an Amazon Fire HD 8 for $59.99 and a Kindle Voyage for $169.99, both representing a $30 discount.
Crocs fan have reason to expect Cyber Monday to be the best sale of the year for the company. Such was the case last year when Crocs offered 40% off site wide.
Crocs’ Cyber Monday Doorbuster prices are 50% off. Clearance items, which went for 40% off prices that were already 60% off could also be an exceptional deal this year.
Buying a vacation may not jump to the top of your Cyber Monday wish list but Expedia subsidiary, Travelocity is out to change your mind.
For 12 hours, beginning at 8 a.m. Cyber Monday a coupon with surprise hotel savings will be released ever hour. Savings up to 75% off will be offered. Travelocity will also offer an all-day $125-off-deal on flight and hotel vacation packages, as well as $25 off hotels booked on the Travelocity mobile app.
Cyber Monday deals at Lands’ End follow a simple formula. Outerwear is 50% off. Everything else, site wide, is 30% off.
Although this year’s site wide deals are 10% less than last year’s 40% off, watch for a special twist. Last year the company offered free no-minimum shipping on all orders versus the normal $50 minimum.

Target has announced that it will repeat last year’s site wide additional 15% off of its Cyber Monday prices. And don’t be surprised if the company also repeats free shipping on all orders – although that has not yet been announced.
Last year Target gave out gift cards on Thanksgiving and Black Friday with 11% of deal items, representing additional savings. On Cyber Monday gift cards were given out with 20% of deals. If the pattern repeats this year, expect even more savings at Target.
